Fair Oaks Roost

We stopped here for lunch during a road trip and it was very pleasant. The atmosphere was somewhat like a bar, but our son is almost 16, so it wasn't a big deal. I had the boneless wings with curly fries, which came with celery and carrots. It was exactly what I was craving. The wings were good- not too soggy, not too dry, the chicken was flavorful, and the breading was just right (not tough). My husband and son had a burger and there were no complaints. Our server was fantastic. She checked up on us frequently and even offered to-go drinks when we were about to check out. If I was in the area, I'd come back to shoot some pool. They have a large bar area, slot machines, and several TVs where they play sports games.

Good vibes and beer. $12 32oz Steins . They have Altstadt German style beer which is a must try. Happy hour 3-6pm. good chips and salsa. Waitress was fast and very nice, pool table $1.00 to play. Must come and see for yourself.

Raised in Fair Oaks since 97. The Fair Oaks Roost has been multiple businesses but by far this was my best experience today. Haven't eaten here in years. I must say the smash burger is super legit and the onion rings are some of the best I've ever had. Atmosphere is very updated and nice, food is delicious and wait staff was pleasant. Amy was very nice and attentive. Me and my pops had a great experience. Definitely will come back when visiting the folks. Job well done!

Live trivia at the roost is the hottest night of the week in the boerne/fair oaks area. Awesome host, Michah, brings the good times and laughs while the friendly staff and bartenders keep the cold cold beverages flowing and delicious bites coming. Plus they got great soap in the bathrooms! Very clean facilities. You'd be stupid not to come hang out. Don't be stupid, stupid.
